Hello

My name is Danielle Virgil and I was born with a rare bone condition called Osteogenesis Imperfecta. I wasn't expected to live much past my birth, yet here I am 43 glorious years later! I've been searching for a way to help those around me deal with medical trauma and healing in a mindful way. I've sustained hundreds of broken bones and lived in the hospital for years out of my childhood. I've had numerous surgeries and live with chronic pain. Despite all of the setbacks and hardships I've faced so far in my life, I can honestly say I absolutely love this human experience! I have always tried to bring the light to what might otherwise be a dark situation and I'm hoping I can do that for the people who need it most.

My Story

Born in the late 70's my genetic disorder was very much unknown. It was so rare in fact that many of the parents of the children with OI or Osteogenesis Imperfecta were accused of child abuse because doctors couldn't explain the quantity of broken bones and skeletal deformities. As I continues to grow and thrive, despite the doctors' prognosis of my imminent death, I developed much like any other person. Despite being only 3 feet 7 inches tall I obtained my driver's license at 17 and started working right after high school. In my mid 30's I finally finished a college degree in business management and have recently gone back to school to learn about energy healing, trauma recovery and to become a mindfulness practitioner. I have had some pretty severe health problems that have plagued me as I grow older but I know I have more to give before this life is done with me! I have a love for life and a tenacious attitude that helps me accept my circumstances with love and enthusiasm for this journey.
